Two things to do post SPM

So if you happen to be scrolling along the news feed on every single social media regardless on your pc or your smartphone and feel bored thinking about how meaningless and directionless is your point right now, well, this might help you as it is helping me.

I've started to develop an interest in coding. I think there are 2 reasons to this.

First is because I was influenced by my friends who went for a coding camp last year. I wanted to join but sadly the seats were only limited to a few people from the first class. I've got to say I got so bitter hearing about that and that sparked my determination of setting foot to the first class next year. And yea, I did it.

Secondly, I wanted to design my blog on my own. Even by downloading the ready made templates, it's pointless to me as I've no clue on how to even use the template. For example, creating links to the logos, changing the words and etc.

What I did for my blog template is that I tried to figure out how the brackets and hashtags work. Vanilla helped me with it. Thank you. <3 After that I was trying to add in and remove stuffs by just looking at the codes without any prior knowledge and I felt so proud of myself for being able to understand what I was doing. TT

I must say the feeling of accomplishment got me fired up. Hahha. xD

Right now I'm learning how to code for free on Code Academy . I tried to understand it last year but sadly I really couldn't get what they were saying and gave up. So I started over everything on scratch and hey, I can actually understand right now. =D

There are still loads of stuffs that I haven't learn from the academy. I'm grateful for stumbling upon the website. Thank you to whoever involve in the making of the website!

My cousin also recommended me this website: Coursera. From what I've heard, it is a website for you to take courses for free online. After completing the course, you can even get a digital certificate. The duration of the course varies. There are instructions there to guide you. I think it is a very good platform for people like me who are still, unsure of what they are gonna pursue at college. Here, you can try out just about any course that you think you might wanna study. Do check it out!

I'm supposed to blog about prom but I'm so hooked up to coding now. Will try to blog about it soon!

xoxo
