Another week in college

2/13/2015 08:04:00 AM

I survived in lectures, meetings and 2 quiz this week. And today I'm finally back for the CNY break. Hell yeah.

The highlight of the week: Pasar Malam in Intiiiiiiiiiii!

The stalls were all outside the residential block. Starting from around block C or D till around block H. We got to know about the pasar malam only an hour before it. Naturally after class we rushed there (more like I was the only one getting excited) and bought fooooooood. But I got to comment, the food was damn damn damn expensive. I bought Takoyaki for 5. Okonomiyaki for 5.50 and fried carrot cake for 5.50 . You may say it's standard market price but it's a pasar malam it's supposed to be slightly cheaper, no? TT And yes I ate all the takoyaki, okonomiyaki and fried carrot cake allllll by myself. This is why I grow sideways instead of upwards. But I swear I usually don't eat such a big proportion.

First time posting photos taken using my note 4!

Sorry for the lame skills. I took the first 3 photos from my college block but it's blocked by the trees and the shade thing.

I'm officially on the Program Master (PM) team of Earth Hour Event in Inti! It's a small event but has very big significance behind it. Last year the Earth Hour event won Social Board two prizes. Gosh, the pressure. TT

We were questioned again and again by our VOC (Vice Organizing Chairperson) the things about the event. The program flow, the games, refreshments, performances and so on. I knew nothing when I stepped into the meeting room. We were dumped with 5426526 questions on our first meeting and those questions were expected to be answered and confirmed by the PM team in our first meeting. So what she actually expect us to know allllll these as our first time being PM? I don't mean to bad mouth her but I'm a scared of her because of that. TT Our OC (Organizing Chairperson) on the other hand was super tolerant and super nice and super prettyyyy. She kept telling us not to stress out ourselves and have fun. So kinddd. TT

Our physics lecturer hinted us that there'll be a quiz. The day before the quiz, he told us it'll be an open book test. This, naturally made everyone feel a little eased. It was a given we were worried but at least we can refer. But STILL I panicked a little and didn't know what to do like 2-3 questions. And I'm unsure of all the answers. When I heard them saying a few answers once the quiz is over I had no idea and no memory of getting those answers. My life la. First ever quiz in college and I'm already doomed.

We had bio quiz the next day. And I have the give kudos to Danes for doing his notes and lending it to us to photostat. His notes were so so complete. I didn't even bother reading the lecture slides. I actually dislike the way some lecturers print their notes by using their lecture slides. First, the wordings as small as hell to a point you can't even see. Secondly, there is too little information so we actually need to dig the info from everywhere else. In my case, I have nothing to fear as I have the bio king and his notes with me. Woohoo. Bio quiz was much better than physics even though we weren't allowed to refer to anything.

That sums up my hectic week. I just went out for a small gathering to welcome Janson back from PLKN! Blogging on the next blogpost.

xoxo
