Comic Fiesta 2013! 23/12/13

12/22/2013 09:48:00 PM

As promised, this update on Comic Fiesta!

It's my first time joining events like these. My first time participating in anime festival. It's like a dream come true. I've always wanted to go, even if it's just once. So I thank my parents and friends and of course, fate, for bringing me there today. Thank you. =]

I woke up at 6.50am today. I kinda got a lil excited thinking about the upcoming events and all the cosplayers I'm gonna see. I wore a plain black collar t-shirt and short jeans today. I actually tried out the puffy dark blue skirt I have but daddy and mummy said it doesn't suit well. TT Hence the ootd. Ohh, not forgetting a white tie along with it. I tied up half of my hair and asked daddy to help me to put a big black ribbon I bought at Taiwan the other day. I like it a lot. And my usual kicks, the white-pink nike shoes. I actually aimed for the normal school girl look today, oh well ><

Today's partner to CF was Erick and Billy. Billy is Erick's cousin. We went to pick them up around 8.30am and headed straight to KL convention centre. To be honest, I thought things will be a little hard on me. And I kept worrying that I'll break down or ruin this day. But being able to write here now, I'm alright. I'm fine. =]

So anyways we reached there roughly an hour later, only to get a phone call from my brother saying he'll be late. Uhhh. His temper when he's with his friends.. it's no good. I couldn't even talk, all he did at the other end of the phone was shout and shout. But at home when he isn't angry or anything, he'll talk to me and share stuffs with me, it's like a whole different person, I wonder why. It'd be good if he reads my blog, but that's impossible. Oh well, I guess I have to try harder then.

Just when we got down from the car, we saw cosplayers. And coincidentally, the anime character I love and admire the most, Asuna from Sword Art Online. She was accompanied with the guy from Inuyasha and Kirito too if I'm not mistaken, hahaha. I went "kyaaaaaaa!" when I saw them. I couldn't help myself. They were sooo cool and it's my first time seeing so many cosplayers. ><

Mummy and daddy ended up going to klcc while the 3 of us went to the cafeteria and waited for my brother. Upon reaching, we saw this superrrrr cool guy cosplaying Kuroko from Kuroko no Basuke. He's so cool and handsome, oh my gosh I thought I was gonna melt. Hhahahahha. We were standing a few feet away from him, hesitating to take photo with him. The reasons:
1) I was shy, I really couldn't bring myself up to ask TT
2) It'll be awkward if he said 'no' TT
3) He was so cool, I thought I'd melt standing beside him

In the end he went up the stairs with his other cosplayer friends. So of course I was complaining that I didn't get to take photos with him. But I remember saying this at the cafeteria, "We'll meet again if fate is out there". A way of comforting myself? I'm not so sure, hahaha, but I'm sure that's a way of being positive.

After they had their breakfast ( they shared chicken rice ), we went upstairs and outside the garden beside the convention hall. We walked and walked until somewhere near the entrance of the hall. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger. We saw Ichigo from Bleach, in his bankai form to be exact. At that moment, among that many people, we saw him, Kuroko, the same guy just now. Not another cosplayer, it was the same as the one just now. Erick managed to spot him first, so credits to you, I know you're reading, hahaha. =p He was surrounded with his friends that time so I didn't have the courage again. >< So we went to take photos with Ichigo first. The first picture I took on that day!

Ichigo from Bleach, Bankai form. I used to loveeeee this character like crazy when I was in, say, Standard 6 and form 1? hahah

We straightaway went to Kuroko. It was hard to ask but finally, FINALLY, we managed to ask him. When Erick asked him, he smiled and nodded politely. He's so like the real Kuroko, goshhhhhh. Too bad I can't marry him lol.

Ain't he handsome? Ohh gosh our hands were soo near, hahahah Girls don't hate me. ;p

I liked this version of Kuroko a lot, to be specific, this cosplayer. He was quite and shy, just like in the anime. He did a good job! =]

I managed to spot a few characters from the recent anime I watched, Inu x boku ss, there were quite a lot who cosplayed as Karuta Roromiya, not the main character in the anime but still a cutie. Some even cosplayed as the demon version of Ririchiyo and her normal school unifrom attire. We saw a Roromiya cosplayer getting her photos taken, we went up to her after that.

We waited for quite some time until my brother came. He gave us the tickets and we headed for the entrance. Inside the hall, it was so crowded. There were like soooo many cosplayers there. That made me excited of course. =D

Here are a few photos!
 Ouma Shu from Guilty Crown!

A different and pretty version of Inori from the same anime. =]

Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tale! Look at the weapons and his hair! I don't need to highlight something in this picture, right girls? Hhahah.

He has been my all time favourite character. Since the first time I saw my cousin playing this popular PS2 game. Sora from Kingdom Hearts. You can see how happy I was, I wanted to hold the keyblade so badly!

Of course we didn't manage to take photos with all the cosplayers we want as there were too many people taking their photos. Here's one.

Another Inori. She's wearing what the character normally wears in the anime. Her hair her dress and her facial expression, not forgetting the pose, were very very similar to Inori. Heads up! I love this a lot. =]

We went further inside the hall. Here's the floor plan for CF. Click here if you want to know. We were at the waiting area when taking photos with the cosplayers. The League of Legends were next in line in the map. Erick said the game isn't nice at all. I saw someone playing LoL last time, I couldn't comment on it because I have not much knowledge of these games. So I'll leave this issue for gamers out there to debate: Dota or LoL? Hahaha.

We saw a few art booth when we went further inside. The first thing we bought were posters of Shingeki no Kyoujin and vocaloid Hatsune Miku from a dedicated promoter from the stall. =] There were a lot of things on sale. T-shirts, shingeki no kyoujin jacket, bags, badges, keychains, cups, posters, bookmarks, drawings, capes, costumes, gadgets and weapons, swords, pencil cases, purses and so on. Those that I listed were what I remember, haha >< Everything was so so cool, but once I see the price, I sorta felt a blizzard and my very-excited-looking face went back emotionless, reluctantly putting back the things. Sigh. =(

We headed to the main stage and saw the solo cosplay competition. The emcee nailed it, the audience burst out laughing from time to time. We were standing at the back but we could still see. The annoying thing for me was the guy standing in front of me. He was at least one head taller than me and he didn't move in front when there were obviously enough space for him to. I got so annoyed. =/ But he didn't intend to annoy anyone so I forgive him. It was my fault for not standing at the right place or not being tall enough. Hahhah.

I was sooooo thirsty I think I could swallow the whole pond of water. How clever I was for not bringing along my water bottle. We then headed out of the hall and went to the Garden again. Once again, photo time!

It took quite a while for us to have this photo taken. Kagami from Kuroko no basuke! There were many people who cosplayed the characters in the anime, expecially Kuroko, see there's one behind kagami. But the one I took photo with, was the best. <3 hahahah.

We walked down the slope upon seeing a group cosplay of Fairy tale.

Levy McGarden! She was so sweet and polite, gahhhh I love her. TT Btw, spot Mirajane and Natsu at the back? Hahha.

The group photo!
Members of Fairy tale. How cool is that. ;D I like Mavis and Levy's cosplay among all. Nevertheless, great job all!

When I saw teh vocaloid Hatsune Miku, I ran straight to her. The other Mikus were not that pretty, and some a lil bit off >< but this cosplay was very good.
Yay we were both wearing ties! =D She was even holding the Miku plush toy, kyaaaaa xD

Oh my gosh oh my gosh, there were looking at this direction. Although both from different anime, but this combination was so sweet. All the guys were like spamming their camera, hahaha. Nice nice. =D

When we were about to leave to klcc for food, I saw this cosplay of Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura, she was with her boyfriend I guess. I had to chase her to get a photo. ><

Ishh, photo bomb behind. =/ But still glad I chased her. One very sad thing was when we headed back here for the second time, she changed her attire to kimono, ahhhh, heart broken. TT Oh well, this will do, it's good enough already. =] Can you spot Inuyasha behind? Hhaha.

We headed to klcc after that. We saw a very nice Erza cosplay and I asked for a photo, but she politely said that I couldn't take photos in there. I thanked her anyways and sadly went away. TT Even the foodcourt there was crowded. We found some seats much later. I ordered the chicken bento as my lunch. You just gotta love Japanese bento. <3 and no, I didn't take photo of it. But I did manage to take photos of my ticket.
This is the early bird ticket!

We wanted to watch a cartoon movie called Frozen at 3.50pm. But after I finished lunch and went to queue up, Billy saw the screen saying the tickets were all sold out. I suggested that we go back to take photos. Not inside the hall though, I was beat too, hahhaa. I feel a little sad not being able to take photo with Asuna. ><

After walking all the way back to the foodcourt for me to buy another bottle of water ( sorry Billy, sorry Erick >< ) we went out again!

There were many cosplaers outside klcc too!
This version of L, is drop dead cool. Damm awesome and alike! Love it!

Neko from the anime K, I guess. Prettyyyy

I asked for a photo with him. My childhood game. Ask from Pokemon! He handed me the Pikachu plush toy before taking photo, the person before this didn't get to hold Pikachu, hah! I almost went crazy that time, afterall, it's my favourite Pikachuuuuuuu! Been loving this cute cuddly pie ever since I saw my cousin play the black and white Pokemon Yellow version on the gameboy. Thanks Ash! =D

And this is where I say I contribute a lot. I saw a small girl cosplayer taking photos. And I shouted to Erick, " Isn't she Yui?! " Indeed, it was Yui from Sword Art Online. Yuuki Asuna came running from the side to have a photo shoot with Yui. We ran up and took their photos too.

Oh gods, they were living angels. Cosplay perfection.

Yuuki Asuna From the popular anime in 2012, Sword Art Online. The most unique anime I've seen and moved me in so many ways. This anime and especially that character had left a deep impression. Together with small Yui, this is so so good. They are barefooted by the way. Like in the anime. =] They did a heart shape with their hands too but Erick didn't take it. Nooooo. TT

And damm I was so happy and lucky when I had a chance to take a photo with them.
Currently my home screen on my phone <3

They were so sweet and polite and pretty and perfect and ahhhhhh, I wanna hug them. TT I was over the moon. The best cosplay in CF 2013! <3

We went back to outside of the hall. Here are the other photos!
From the most popular anime in 2013, Shingeki no Kyoujin ( Attack on Titan ), main character, Eren Jaegar

 Weeeeeee! xD

Another cosplay of Roromiya I guess. Crap, I helped Erick to take the photo and I wanted to take next, but she ran off with her friends right after her photo with Erick. I was stunned to the spot. You win this round, Ritcher. =p

 Vocaloids!

Kuroshitsuji cosplay! Loveee the dress. =D

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, we welcome you to this showdown that will be marked as history's very own. A showdown between Domo and Gundam. Gosh domo is cute xD

 Fate Stay Night. =]

A lucky fan with Bleack group cosplay!
Orihime is my favourite in Bleach. Too bad I didn't see Rukia at all. ><

And they went running up the hill when they saw this. Final Fantasy.

A more similar version of Kagami from Kuroko no Basuke. This is cool. =]

And when we were about to head back, we once again saw Yuuki Asuna and Yui at the entrance again. I wanted to take anothe photo with her, but they walked away barefooted after having their photos taken. I was shocked to see my mummy and daddy sitting there, my dad stopped them and pointed to me that I wanted to take photo with them. Thanks Daddy! :') But I felt bad after because they seemed like they were in a hurry. But they put on their nicest smile to everyone. When I stood beside of Asuna, she recognized me! I was soooooo touched! Hahhahaah.

Omggggg, aren't they cute? <3 Thank you so much Asuna and yui! =D This was the last photo taken there.

We talked a lot in the car. I'm glad everyone had a great time. =] And again, if you're wondering what did I use to take my photos, except for the first two photos in this blog and the other 2 photos of my ticket that were taken using my iPhone 4, the others were taken by Erick using his iPhone 5s. I gotta admit, the resolution are onto a whole new level. The photos taken were very very nice. So thanks again Erick, I know you're still reading. =p

Posted this on my ig. Left was taken using iPhone 4, right was taken using iPhone 5s. Hahhaha.

I find this unfair. TT and what's more unfair is that the speed difference when uploading the photos onto this blog post is different for the photos I took with mine and Erick's phone. Photos taken using his iPhone 5s load within 3-4 second while using my iPhone 4, it takes like 1504501650 years. And when I plugged in my phone to my laptop, I have to rotate each and every vertical photo I took because it's in the landscape state. While it don't need to do a single thing with the photos taken using iPhone 5s. Uhhhh. iPhone why you so mean?

Anyways, here are the things I bought today!
Asuna mousepad! <3 I had a hard time choosing between this and the other mousepad with a photo of Asuna and Kirito on it. >< It costs RM15. The three badges from the side, starting form the top, Ouma Shu from Guilty Crown, I chose this because he looked too cool in this. The second one is K-on! and finally Hastune Miku. Those 3 costs me RM 10. My brother managed to buy more stuffs though. He bought a few posters, keychains, a box of Sword Art Online puzzle ( arhhhhh ) and a Hastune Miku cup. Our interest are quite similar in this. Hahhaha.

So to the otakus out there, I hope you enjoyed reading this.

Thank you Comic Fiesta 2013! I had a lot of fun. Thanks a lot to all the cosplayers too! Happy Winter Solstice to all by the way! =D
