**I decided to blog on Valentine's day because I have nothing better to do that this. Spending my Valentine's this year with my rilakkuma, my laptop, my family and also the 20++ cats in Neko Astume. Nope, ain't lonely at all!
Whenever CNY is around the corner, you can hear radio stations blasting CNY songs and wishing luck and prosperity to the listeners. If I were to translate most of the idioms they always use during CNY in chinese, the gist of it is this: "The spring wind blow blow, flowers bloom, everything steady, money come, luck come, huat ah!"
This year's CNY is one of the best for me. The first day of CNY fell on the 8th of February which was a Monday. Many relatives of mine took the whole week off to celebrate the festive season. This year is also the first and perhaps the last year I could celebrate CNY with zero worries. No homework, no assignment, no folios, no quiz, no tests, no exams. Absolutely nothing. This could be a reason why I find this year's CNY more fun than ever because I wouldn't need to think about completing unfinished works and studying for endless tests. Teehee xp
On the day of the reunion dinner, Ah Liang, Mel, and Zhi Xuan were already at ah ma's house when we went there in the morning. We didn't really do much that day. Mel and I wanted to learn the dance to a few korean songs in the afternoon but in the end we didn't get to learn much hahahah. We spent most of the time in the afternoon with Zhi Xuan talking about stuffs related to my course and conspiracy theories of some famous shows we read online like Harry Potter and Pokemon.
I don't really know how to explain what's conspiracy theory but you can Google it up. The stuffs we read on the internet are basically a mind-blowing explanation to something that happened in a show.
For example, the one I read about Harry Potter said that Harry actually suffers from some split personality disease and the household that took Harry in was actually trying to help Harry. Harry, who didn't realize them as his saviour, saw them as a threat and that's why the movie always revolves the Dursleys seemingly trying to get in Harry's way all the time and how Harry, with his magic, overcomes each obstacle the Dursleys gave him. Harry's hatred towards Dursleys led him to shut himself in the room under the staircase all the time, which means there was no Hermione, no Ron, no Platform 9 3/4, no Hogwarts and of course, no magic. It was all Harry's imagination. He never stepped outside the small room all this while.
Mind blown I know.
We went to a new restaurant for our reunion dinner that night which was located next to Petronas at Lukut. The food was okay. Our family took up 5 tables. We went out for Starbucks after dinner without be jie, ah di and zhi xuan because they went out before we did. The thing that I was disappointed the most is that there were no crowd at all at Waterfront and no fireworks at all!! My parents told us that there were a lot of fireworks at our house later when we went back and I regret going to Waterfront that night. TT

We woke up rather early and went to ah ma's house as usual. While waiting for everyone to wake up and have their brunch Zhi Xuan cut out newspaper and folded them into Ddakji, the one they play in Running man. Yes we were that bored. We went to the cinemas in the afternoon to watch From Vegas to Macau 3. Honestly, it was lousy. I mean some parts are really funny and all but overall I'm like "wth am I watching?" throughout the movie. PSY made a cameo in the movie and his English was not bad.
I didn't feel very good that day especially after coming back home after the movie. I felt very dizzy and my stomach was bloated despite not eating much that day. Luckily after drinking 100 plus I felt much better or else I think I would've have to miss out dinner with them! (No, I'm not trying to advertise 100 plus lol)
We went to Kim's for dinner at night and this year there was no karaoke. :( and no selfies D; and no cheongsam TT
There's 2 family photos that my uncle took though hahaha
We went to Xing hua's grandparents house around 11.30 because Xing hua's house was under renovation. And again they gambled. But we did play a few round of mafia at the end after they finished gambling. Eugene won a whopping sum of 600++ from what I've heard. Port Dickson's gamble king perhaps?
I got to be the doctor for 2 rounds straight this time. One of the rounds was very exciting yet nerve-wrecking for me because it was down to 4 people including me and if I couldn't save the right person, the mafia won. I purposely saved myself for the past few rounds for 2 reasons:
1) I seriously don't know who the mafia will kill. The probability of me saving the right person is too slim.
2) I don't wanna die so soon, duh.
3) I want to convince the mafia that I am a selfish doctor who keeps saving her own life.
And with that, the probability of me saving the right person at last round is down to 1/3, since the mafia will assume I will be saving myself. I kind of guessed who was the mafia is so by taking him out, the probability is now 1/2. This is where I gambled. I saved the one of the 2 people before and the mafia would probably not want to kill him this time round so I chose the other person instead. PHEW I saved the right person and we won! Hahaha xD
Simon's brother fetched Yu Quan, Hua Wei and me back home and by the time I reached home it was around 2.40 am. It was my first time staying out till so late! Luckily my parents were fast asleep so I didn't get scolded. But I did told them I reached home around 2 the next morning and they were surprisingly chill with it.

Movie time with E jie and family!
We wanted to eat at Morganfield's before the movie at 1.45pm but because my whole family had upset tummy so we didn't go for Morganfield's. The movie we watched was recommended by many on social media, Ola Bola. The movie was very touching and funny at some scenes. Overall not bad, really. So so much better than From Vegas To Macau 3. At night we went to Aunty Lenny's house for her open house buffet and I bumped into my high school juniors but I was too shy to say hi ><

A.k.a Valentine's day. I spent the whole morning and noon blogging this. My mom's gonna cook something nice this afternoon and I'm looking forward to it hehe xp
That's it for this post! This year is also the first year where I have programs all the way till chu 6. Normally everyone will be going back home during chu 4 and I would be bored again on chu 4. So this year's CNY was very enjoyable to me. :D
I hope you enjoyed your CNY as much as I did. Once again, wishing you all luck and prosperity this year! May you have a fruitful year. <3

Yeapp, Mel cut her bangs for the first time in 21 years hahhaha xD it looks good on her!
No one got wasted this year which is a good thing. At night I watched and learned how to play mahjong from my cousins. At least I'm finally not clueless about mahjong now hahah.
Chu 2.
We used the newly built highway back to popo's house. Azura didn't come back this year. We spent the day chit chatting and complaining about the weather. E jie left early to the airport because she has to work on chu 3. :( We went back earlier this year too. At night we went to ah ma's house again and we went to Jiu Zhou together with Shu Fen and her husband for dinner. Mel and I played monopoly deal while the others gambled after dinner hahah. Mel came for a sleepover too! We were trying to learn to dance to BTS Dope at 3.30 a.m. and my brother was like "wth" when he saw me and mel striking a pose for the next movement.
AWKWARD.

One day trip to Malacca!
Me, Mel and ah liang sat in ah di's car. My brother and ah jing sat in be jie's car. Ah liang went to the bank in the morning and I didn't know what he had to do but we waited for him for an hour in the car urghh. We would all be lying if we said we weren't pissed off at all. But it's okay, it's over. Mel and I have been singing since waiting for ah liang at the bank, during the journey to and back from malacca. I thought I was gonna lose my voice again hahah.
We went to Jonker street and a few other places. We had a small packet of nasi lemak in the morning. Followed by the chicken rice rice balls at Jonker, egg-shaped ice, Durian puff, durian cendol and many more. We went to the historical "Red house" and the old building thingy on top of a hill too. The best thing about that day was the weather. It wasn't as scorching hot as we all thought it would be. It was quite windy too. But being windy wasn't reaalllllyyy a good thing for me because I was wearing a dress lol.
We also walked to this mall thingy because Ah Jing wanted to buy his phone battery. Apparently after he sent me a message his phone spoiled lol. We went to tampin for non-halal satay at night. We had to wait for a very long time and we almost lost our patience. But the satay tasted good so it's okay. The one day trip was overall quite fun!
At night after we took bath we went to ah ma's house again. The guys gambled and I watched from the side. We went to mamak stall at pantai mas after ah liang earned a lot of money for supper hahaha. I envy mel for being able to eat so much without getting fat. I was scolded by my cousins for eating too little. But I wasn't lying. TT My stomach was uncomfortable and bloated since chu 1 and I was too full to eat anymore but they won't believe me because Melanie was eating a lot. Sigh. TT
Chu 4.
We had bak kut teh in the morning together with be jie, ah di, ah jing and Leslie. Again I was scolded for eating too little again hahaha. We went to Shu Fen's house for around 2 hours and went to ah ma's house. Ah Jing brought me and mel to the 3D art gallery near ah Sam's house. We spent another 2 hours there hahaha xD Sorry Mel for not taking many pics together with you TT Later that night be jie brought us to Bintang to sing k for 2 hours hehe xp Mel and I wanted to sing k since chu 1 and finally our wish has been granted.
Ah di and ah jing they all went back because they are going to watch movie at seremban. After the karaoke when we were in the car and about to leave Mel realised she left her phone and purse in the karaoke room and we were all like omgggggg. Mel ran back and I followed. Luckily the workers there took it and they were searching through her purse trying to find for clues to contact the owner when Mel showed up. Kudos for a job well done, workers at Bintang!
I know how she felt that time because I once left my phone on the table beside a computer at the photostat shop at Inti and the photostat shop is usually always crowded. My legs almost gave up when I found my phone still there, untouched. Omg. Guess the "forgetful" gene runs in the family.

Bai nian with friends! <3
Ahh, I'm sorry Mel I couldn't be with you till you go back. Again. TT
In the morning, Janson came to fetch me, Johnson, Hua Wei and Abby to Jia hao's house around 11. We were like the first ones to reach there. Guys being guys, they gambled right when they reached there lol. Me, abby, yummy and hua wei played monopoly deal on the sofa hahhaa xD Later on a huge group of our friends joined. I thought this year's CNY would be less merrier because I initially thought not many people would be coming but boy I was wrong! The bai nian is still as lively as ever :D
We went for lunch then went to Eugene's house around 2pm. They made a big circle and gambled again. We played monopoly deal again lol. Johnson skype-d Vanilla and we were talking to her while gambling and playing monopoly hahah. I did gamble a little but I think I won like rm3? lol hahahah I just don't really felt like gambling this year.
We walked to Hui wen's house after Eugene's house and guess what we did? *stares at you for 5 years like how Dora did* Bingo! They gambled again and we played monopoly again!
Hui wen's dog, omg, was so so so so so so cuuutttteeeee <3 Gahh that puffball was the centre of attention. But yong qi and wei xin were really afraid because they're scared of dogs. They yelped in fear whenever the dog jumped off from the chair of the couch hahha xD
After dinner at the mamak stall opposite seaview, they all came over to my house. But they didn't gamble this time round. Eugene fulfilled his promise with me by playing mafia with everyone. Wee! I didn't get any post throughout the games at my house but I wasn't killed off in the game early so I get to participate in almost every game to the end.
Outstanding mafias of the day? Jia hao for one of the rounds, he kept playing dumb and omg he was so so good at acting. And for the other round was Eugene and Kah Lin. Though I kept asking why I must believe Eugene that he isn't the mafia, he was, as usual, leading the discussion so I didn't want to believe that he's the mafia. Good game well played boys hahhaha xD
